2025 MusicGirls Camp Highlights

Celebrating MusicGirls 11th Anniversary with the largest number of  MusicGirls campers ever. This amazing program was started in 2014 by Steve Morrison. Read more about the history of the MusicGirls Program

Junior Camp for MusicGirls, ages 6-9, runs for 3 mornings and includes classes in piano, ukulele, dulcimer, and violin.  We had 28 girls in camp this year and started each day off with music games, making new friends, and lots of laughs. MusicGirls Camp for girls ages 10-19 was 5 very full days. The MusicGirls were able to choose from a variety of instruments and other music-related classes. A total of 70 girls were in the program. The camp counselors and some of the instructors were former MusicGirl Camp participants.

This camp was highlighted with Instrument classes, performance lessons, an open mic, a "band incubator", and concluded each day with a MusicGirls Jam.

MusicGirls has outgrown the Lake Wales Arts Center for camp and this year the Camp was at Hillcrest Elementary School. This gave us additional and larger classrooms.
