Junior Camp for MusicGirls, ages 6-9, runs for 3 mornings and includes classes in piano, ukulele, dulcimer, percussion, and singing. We had 28 girls in camp this year and started each day off with music games, making new friends, and lots of laughs. The MusicGirls received classes from all-female instructors, two of whom were new and came from our Counselor program. MusicGirls would like to thank the Lake Wales Arts Center Staff for their support of the program.

MusicGirls Camp for girls ages 10-19 was 5 very full days. The MusicGirls were able to choose from a variety of instruments and other music-related classes. A total of 76 girls were in the program. The camp counselors and some of the instructors were former MusicGirls Camp participants. The camp was held at Hillcrest Elementary School. This allows for more students and smaller class sizes.
This camp was highlighted with Instrument classes, performance lessons, an open mic, a "band incubator", and concluded each day with a MusicGirls Jam.
